2020 was always going to be a powerful year, and with our changing landscape alternating each day we are really going through the motions. To put simply, we as a human race are breaking through the restructuring phase, this is equal parts poetic as it is diabolical. From an astrological stand point, we have a lot going on up above. To pinpoint when exactly this chaos started would be to go down a never ending road, so i’ll start with December 2019 when a Pluto -Saturn conjunction brought to attention the first reported Covid-19 case in China. Followed by the three auspicious Jupiter-Pluto conjunctions in the sign of Capricorn taking place April 4th, June 30th and November 12th of 2020. This is inviting growth on a large scale, as Capricorn represents society, stamina and persistence. We must dig up our roots and face what truly matters. Whatever ruptures now, regenerates into something else, believe that. We can expect our narrative to change and coincide more fully with the work we’re doing and the awareness we have gained over the course of this monster year. Current astrology ascribes this kind of stormy behaviour to the planet Mars and Uranus which are expected to turn up in dominant positions in their horoscopes.

The self isolation process draws us into our cocoons and cultivates a maturity not felt before. We accept the natural cycle of life and this incites a profound personal power that Saturn in Aquarius develops and nurtures. The Pluto - Saturn conjunction in Capricorn guides beneath the surface, you might not see it but you can definitely feel it. Masks are well and truly coming off, and it’s both liberating and terrifying. These darker themes continue to puncture our entire year, there is no getting away from metamorphosis.
